QAQC Executive

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to assist and support the QAQC Manager carry out on monthly observation assessment of project Quality / HSE / Documentation reviewing.
  • To liaise with Head of Quality with regard to quality management procedures to be implemented at project.
  • To be knowledge in all aspect of Quality Control and Quality Assurance System of the project.
  • To identify if existing procedures are adequate and if any amendment need to be improved to the existing procedures.
  • Conduct regular internal observation and inspection of processes and project.
  • Prepare observation reports and follow up on actions.
  • Oversee contractor testing for products and processes to ensure they meet specification.
  • Analyse test reports and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure contractor that all quality documentation is current, properly stored, and easily accessible.
  • Organize briefing / training for contractor or project team on quality standards and practices.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness within the organization.
  • Investigations into quality issues, using root cause analysis techniques.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure compliance in all processes and products.
  • Collect and analyse defect team / customer team feedback related to quality.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting issues / HSE and trends.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree / Diploma in a relevant field such as engineering, quality management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years above relevant experience in construction field.
  • Familiarity with the specific industry (e.g., construction manufacturing) can be beneficial.
  • Proficiency in quality management tools (root cause analysis) and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret quality data and metrics effectively.
  • Knowledge of inspection and testing methods relevant to the industry.
  • Ability to brief and train the contractor / project team about quality initiatives.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards and the ability to ensure compliance.
  • A keen eye for detail to identify potential quality issues.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving quality initiatives.
